Everything here is a real app: MESA and FUJI Drum load as AUv3 inside AUM, Loopy Pro, Logic and GarageBand, and they read VKO1's shaders the same way they do here.
How the studio works
Click any instrument to walk up to it and open its panel. Drag to look around, scroll to zoom.
NOTHING SAMPLED
The shaders are VKO1's own packs, the master effects are VKO1's own, and the room was modelled in Blender from a script. Every sound you hear is synthesized live in your browser by the instruments' actual audio engines — MESA's and FUJI Drum's own DSP, the same code that runs in the apps, compiled to WebAssembly — cutting their wavetables and kits from the picture on screen, and playing the apps' own factory presets.
THE TAPES
VKO1 · MESA · FUJI
The soundtracks of the three release films, played live by the instruments in this room: every note through MESA, every hit through FUJI, every picture change through VKO1.
JAM THIS BAR
Takes the bar that's playing apart: its drums become FUJI's pattern and its busiest line becomes DUNA's NOTES, ready to edit.
JAM
Your own patterns. FUJI's 16-step grid, DUNA's NOTES into MESA, DUNA's lanes on any knob.

THE CABLES
MESA, FUJI ← a shader
Each sound is cut from a VKO1 shader, as in the apps: a MESA wavetable is one row of the shader rendered 64 times across its time; FUJI's kit is sixteen regions of one frame. VKO1 itself is the show: its pads change the picture, never the sound.
⚄ DICE
Rolls a style (80s Miami, 90s Acid, Trap, Warehouse…) and both instruments roll inside it, the way the apps' dice do: a new FUJI kit with the style's beat and tempo, and a new MESA patch with its own line in DUNA's notes.
FUJI → VKO1
The beat. Kicks pump the shaders; DRUMS → PADS lets the pads fire VKO1's pads.
DUNA → everything
Four lanes, each bound to a knob anywhere in the room, plus NOTES into MESA.
